An interior designer and owner of her own firm for the past 17 years, Robin is active professionally as an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the International Interior Design Association, the International Furnishings & Design Association and the Women Presidents Organization.

“I pride myself on not having a pre-determined “Robin Baron look,” she explains, adding that each project is about the individual client’s needs, loves, and dreams.  Robin compliments each client’s personality with an eclectic mix of design details.  Good design is about these details, ensuring finished rooms that are balanced and use juxtaposition that are in harmony.  “Livable homes are my trademark,” says the designer who has literally trademarked the term.  Each project is a reflection of the client, and a place where he or she can relax and feel comfortable within beautiful surroundings.  In short, Robin Baron homes are ones you never want to leave.

Q: What would your friends tell us about you?
A: I am optimistic, energetic, and outgoing.

Q: If you could eliminate one design style from the world, what would it be?
A: Design is about inspiration and I am inspired by many different—and sometimes unexpected—styles and techniques, so I wouldn’t eliminate any one style.

Q: What is the highest compliment you’ve received professionally?
A: A client recently told me that I was more than a designer, and that I was more like a life coach for her during the project.  The same client’s 17-year-old daughter, who hadn’t seen the furnishings in the new home until they were completely installed, cried the first time she saw the interiors because she felt they were so beautiful.
